Fixed my little guy's vomiting
From Beaverton, ORComments about Advita ProbioticMy male cat (13 y/o) had foul smelling feces and frequent vomiting. My vet suggested I change his food and add a probiotic. Problem solved on both accounts. He and my other cat love the liver taste; I sprinkle the powder on top of their wet food. -
Just what my dog needed
From Twinsburg OHComments about Advita ProbioticThis is the only product that I have tried that is actually working for his stomach. -
This product has truly been a good supplement for my dog.
From Washington StateComments about Advita ProbioticDuring different times when my dog gets other bites of food that he is not supposed to have, and he has mushy stools or diarrhea, I add a full packet of Advita Probiotic to his dish once a day (just add a little filtered water until it dissolves) until his stools are normal again usually 1-2 days. Also works good if he is going to the Vet or grooming, because it helps with irregularity when he's under more stress. Prior to giving him this probiotic he had mushy diarrhea all of the time. There is some in his food "Natural Balance-Synergy", but this has helped even more. Once he had eaten a large amount of grass and his little tummy was very upset and you could actually hear the loud grumbling, so I gave him Advita for 7-days and he pooped it all out and was fine. I keep this on hand from now on. He got lots of belly rubs too. I really appreciate the fact this is affordable and convenient through Vetrxdirect. Thanks Vetrxdirect Mothergoose21-

Advita Probiotic works absolutely great
From Fort Worth TexasComments about Advita ProbioticI was paying a higher fee to obtain a few packets from the vet and it is wonderful that I can order it by the box from VetRx for less money than the few packets I received from my vet. The product works wonderful for my mini schnauzer's tummy problems. -

Seems ok
From Jacksonville, flComments about Advita ProbioticI only give my dog 1/2 a packet a day because her food has probiotics in it too. I'm not sure it's the miracle probiotic that others have stated for their dog. My dog has been better so far but she has still been having some problems. It also turns her poop bright yellow. I will give it a little bit longer to see if it works better with continued use. Love vetrxdirect.com they have the best prices out there and so far no problems with products. -
It really helped my boy
From UndisclosedComments about Advita ProbioticI bought this over a month ago for my dog that had bouts of diarrhea twice a week it's helped.

How many colony forming units are in a dose and how do you guarantee they are alive??
-
There is a total of 2 x 108 (200,000,000) per packet of the probiotic. The manufacturer uses a process called microencapsulation. Without microencapsulation there are many variables that can affect the product depending on the type/strain of probiotic, such as heat temperature exposure, light, and other factors. This process helps to ensure that the probiotic lasts until its expiration date.

if i give this to my dog for 2 weeks before we leave her at the kennel will the effects of this product continue working if we stop giving it to her after we leave her at the kennel (she will be there 7 days)?
-
Advita is a source of probiotics and prebiotics that work to regulate and support the natural intestinal bacteria, and support digestive health and stool regularity. Because each individual dog responds differently, it is difficult to determine how long this product will stay in effect once it is discontinued. Please consult with your veterinarian about how often to administer this product for your pet. Thank you, VetRxDirect

My dog won't eat it sprinkled on his dog food nor eat the food i sprinkled it on. so can I sprinkle the packet on his tongue he only has to take it once daily for ten days as per the vet's direction?

Advita is a blend of multiple probiotic bacteria and the prebiotic inulin for use in cats and dogs. Inulin helps facilitate the growth of the good bacteria in the GI tract. It can also help feed the strains of prebiotic bacteria that are included in Advita: Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, and Bacillus coagulans. It also has vitamins A, C, and E to help keep your pet healthy. The product for cats also contains Taurine. By giving your pet this product, it may help regulate your pet's stools and appetite. Mixing the powder with food will increase the absorption of this product and decrease the upset stomach caused by it. The powder by itself usually has a stronger taste than when mixed with food. It is also important to make sure your dog takes the full dose of this probiotic. Advita probiotic is available in a paste dosage form as well, which is may be better tolerated by your dog. Please contact your veterinarian for further recommendations or other possible treatment options that may be appropriate. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Can Advita be given on an ongoing basis to maintain digestive health??
-
Probiotics are used to promote the growth of good bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract aiding in digestion. Currently there is information showing the benefit of using probiotics for acute cases of diarrhea in cats and dogs. There is no evidence supporting the long term use of probiotics. The opinion among experts is that there is no harm in giving probiotics long-term, but there is also no documented benefit, such as the ability to maintain a healthy digestive tract. Talk with your veterinarian about the best option for your pet's digestive health. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Does it help stop passing gas.my yourkie passing gas more than usual.the vet recommend advita probiotic powder.?
-
This probiotic contains organisms used to replenish your pet’s gut flora to promote a healthy digestive function. Replenishing these bacteria may help with flatulence when given as directed but time of symptom resolution will vary from pet to pet. We recommend following up with your veterinarian after a couple weeks of use if you are not seeing improvement. Thank you, VetRxDirect
