Great Customer Service/Fast Shipping
I ordered BD U-40 Syringes for my boy who is diabetic. Online ordering was super easy. The VetRx team had to obtain confirmation from his doctor before shipping. There was a delay from the vet in approving. After talking with the vet's office, I had to contact VetrRx to confirm they had received the green light. The response was quick and professional. They worked swiftly to make sure we had out needles in time so that my boy could take his insulin. I am definitely ordering again from VetRx. I had a good experience!

Hi...i'm trying to find 0.3 or 0.5 ml syringes with no needle or removable needles. Do you have any??
-
Thank you for the question. Yes, we do have syringes with no needles available for purchase. You may find it using the provided link: https://www.vetrxdirect.com/product/view/monoject-veterinary-syringes-no-needle-rx/variation-5501. To measure out 0.3 or 0.5 ml, it is best to purchase the 1cc per syringe as these syringes have markings that allow the ability to measure these volumes more accurately compared to the larger syringe sizes. Thank you again for the opportunity to assist you, VetRxDirect

How do you read the syringe. Where is 1.5 unit mark?
-
The 1.5 Unit mark on the BD U-40 syringes will depend on if you have the 1/2mL or 3/10mL syringe. The 1/2mL syringe has markings for 5, 10, 15, and 20 Units. There should be four slightly shorter lines between each set indicating the full numbers between. Between those lines are the shortest lines that indicate half numbers. The first line closest to the needle is the zero line. From there, go down to the first full number line, then to the next half number line for 1.5 Units. The 3/10mL syringes have markings for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 Units. The slightly shorter lines in between represent the odd numbers and the shortest lines between represent half numbers. The first line closest to the needle is the zero line. From there, go down to the first full number line, then to the next half number line for 1.5 Units. If you have more questions, please contact your veterinarian or the pharmacy to speak with a pharmacist.

Hi! Is this the syringe I would use to inject B-12 into mty cat's subQ port? Rx by vet... Thanks!?
-
These syringes are measured in insulin units. As such, they are for insulin administration only and should not be used for B-12 administration. Please consult with your pet's veterinarian on the best needle/syringe combination for this use.

You need 20 gauge by 1 inch needles for sub-q fluids. You can use those, but for injecting into port, I use 25 gauge X 5/8th inch needle.
