CET Enzymatic Toothpaste Vanilla Mint flavor.
From UndisclosedComments about C.E.T. Enzymatic ToothpasteI was so happy to find this as it's the only flavor toothpaste my dogs like. They fight me brushing their teeth if I use a different one. -
Trey's nice teeth..
From UndisclosedComments about C.E.T. Enzymatic ToothpasteOur golden retriever, Trey, loves this toothpaste. He walks over when he sees me take it out with the toothbrush and lays down on the floor and rolls on his side. It makes brushing his teeth a lot easier when he really likes the flavor. And it's a good toothpaste for keeping his teeth clean, and protecting his gums. Great product. -
i would buy product again
From UndisclosedComments about C.E.T. Enzymatic Toothpastemy poodle just loves this toothpaste. would also like to know where to get the treat that was sent with the toothpaste. she liked that, too. -
Dog toothpaste.... who knew?
From undisclosedComments about C.E.T. Enzymatic ToothpasteWhen I tell my girl, "Its time for a brusha!", I swear she smiles. She LOVES this toothpaste - she presently gets the vanilla mint. She will actually lick it off the toothbrush if I let her. During her last dental, the Vet told she has pockets, which, if not taken care of, she'll need to have her teeth pulled, so I've tried to diligently brush, and I get no pushback from the pooch. She loves it! -

The vanilla mint flavor contains methyl salicylate. Isn't that toxic to cats? It can cause both digestive & neurological issues, so why have that in a toothpaste meant for cats? Why not just vanilla??

The vanilla mint flavor contains methyl salicylate. Isn't that toxic to cats? It can cause both digestive & neurological issues, so why have that in a toothpaste meant for cats? Why not just vanilla? Methyl salicylate, commonly known as oil of wintergreen, is a commonly added flavor agent in mint-flavored products. According to Virbac, the manufacturer of C.E.T. Enzymatic Toothpaste, a proprietary blend is used to create their product, and there is <1% of methyl salicylate contained in their formula. Virbac’s website also indicates that each flavor of toothpaste is able to be safely swallowed in small amounts. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication in your cat.
