Yes It Works For Cats, Talk to Your Vet
I have a cat with cancer. His appetite is finicky so when he picks and wants a few different kinds of foods in one day, I give a Cerenia to make sure his stomach doesn't get upset. As a result, Skippy hasn't vomited in weeks. But the last time he did, I gave a Cerenia a while after he settled down (and for a couple days after), and he rebounded quickly. He used to vomit every time we would ride in the car to veterinary appointments. A quarter famotidine (pepcid) did not seem to help. But the proper dose of Cerenia 30 minutes before the trip took care of it. Skippy is actually in remission now and much improved, so he doesn't get carsick anymore, but we keep Cerenia on hand for those oddball appetite days in case of stomach upset. a real help for us. ALWAYS administer Cerenia according to your veterinarian's guidelines for YOUR pet's situation.
NOTE: Do not wrap Cerenia inside a Pill Pocket or anything. I take a small piece of a Pill Pocket and place the Cerenia on it, just enough to give me something to help it slide down. But you want the pill basically "open" and able to dissolve easily in the tummy. It will not be able to if you wrap it in anything.

Cerenia has made a difference for Winstons travel adventures
From UndisclosedComments about Cerenia (maropitant citrate) 60mg, 4 TabletsWinston has always been a great traveler. We never had to give him anything to travel, however, recently he began to have anxiety while traveling. Our Vet recommended we try Cerenia as Winston may have developed motion sickness. While taking Cerenia Winston once again enjoys traveling with us everywhere. He is just calmer not all "drugged out". -
