I definitely intend to continue purchasing From them
From UndisclosedComments about DOUXO ChlorhexidineI purchased Douxo Shampoo and Duoxo Microemulsion Spray. He has chronic skin bacterial infections and allergies. Both products were prescribed by my veterinarian. I'm very pleased with both products and Vetrxdirect.com. Made it possible to have them delivered to my home. My veterinarian is about 45 minutes away and this saves me great amount of time. It was a win win experience. -

Douxo Products
From UndisclosedComments about DOUXO ChlorhexidineThis stuff is AH-MAZE-ING! I have the wipes that we used for our cat. Previous to us owning him, he was abandoned and his collar was so tight that it caused scarring around his neck and all of his fur was gone. I used the wipes, and within a week his hair started growing back. I also used the mousse for my dog, she wound up with Calcinosis Cutis on her tummy, and we have been using the foam faithfully and it is looking better and better. I purchased the shampoo recently, I have only used it once so far so I don't have much to report on that as of yet. -
Excellent for itch relief
From UndisclosedComments about DOUXO ChlorhexidineMy little JackChi was really itchy. Could not figure out what was bugging him. A friend recommended Douxo medicated shampoo. Presto no more itching! Highly recommended! -
Game Changing Product
From UndisclosedComments about DOUXO ChlorhexidineA game changer for various skin conditions. Our 2 Babies ( Shih Tzu) have tender skin and our boy is prone to some skin itches. Especially in spring and during the end of summer/fall. The shampoo relieves discomfort like a charm. Skin wonderfully conditioned and his hair is soft tangle free and no itch. The cleansing pads will also really help with soothing ear itches and yet gently cleansing. These pads last a long time too. I cut them in quarters. This allows me to get into his smaller, delicate ears and do a good cleaning. Be certain to keep lid tightly closed. If they do happen to dry out a bit...simply spritz (2 to 3 spritzes into the jar) with some bottled or distilled water just to moisten a bit close back up and you're ready to go. We have been using for years now. Would absolutely recommend both shampoo and pads. -

Q & A
-
Why should you not use the pads between toes on a cat? This appears to be where the fungal infection is located.?
-
The manufacturer states that DUOXO S3 PYO pads can be safely used on cats everywhere except between the toes as this skin is very thin and delicate; so, adverse reactions to the antiseptic ingredient are of concern in this area. Local adverse reactions include: redness, itching, and other signs of inflammation. It is recommended that you speak with your veterinarian to determine if this product will be safe and effective for your cat.

Is the spray form used the same way as the shampoo or is it a "dry shampoo"??
-
The micro-emulsion spray formulation is applied differently than the shampoo formulation. The directions for use are to brush the hair coat against the natural full line, then spray the product by holding the pump approximately 12 inches from the pet's body, thus dispensing the product over the targeted area. The product will disperse naturally and will not need to be rinsed like the shampoo. Follow the directions given to you by your veterinarian if they differ from the above directions.

I used this product upon recommendation of a dog dermatologist. It cleared up to skin problem very well. Will it hurt to keep using the product as a routine shampoo? I'm using it currently 1 to 2 times a month.?
-
This product is safe to use as a shampoo on a weekly basis. For best results, it is left in for at least 10 minutes after scrubbing before rinsing out. This allows a protective film to form over the skin, which helps maintain the correct moisture balance in the skin. Thank you, VetRxDirect

will this help flea allergy?
-
According to the manufacturer’s client information sheet, DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS is not effective against parasitic infections such as fleas or ticks. DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS contains Phytosphinogosine that has anti-inflammatory and anti-seborrhea (skin flaking) properties but the overall product is focused more for bacterial, yeast, and fungal skin infections. DOUXO Chlorhexidine PS may be used to treat skin infections that are a result of fleas or flea allergies such as skin breaks from itching or flea bites. So it may not help with the flea allergy itself but may help with some of the effects of flea allergies. We recommend contacting your veterinarian to discuss treatment options that would be most effective for your pet. Thank you, VetRxDirect
