Extraordinary, unexpected improvement in 14.5 year-old-lab
With our vet's assistance, we had tried everything, prescription and OTC, to make our elderly lab more comfortable. After 8 weeks of taking Glyde, his arthritic limping gait has completely changed, his formerly fussy and flagging appetite is enormously better, he is alert and eager for activities that he hasn't engaged in for a couple of years. In short, his quality of life has shown an astonishing improvement and we have discontinued other medications. This product is worth every penny and more.

Changed the formula - now my dog won't eat it
I started using Glyde about a year ago and loved it. Sid would eat it and it made him much more mobile. He was jumping up on the bed again, playing again. It was wonderful. Now they've changed the formula. It's hard, it must smell different, because Sid sniffs it and walks away. I am so disappointed. I'm going to have to look for something else and who knows if it will work as well as this did? Why did they have to mess with a good thing?

I have this on autoship and will continue...
From UndisclosedComments about GlydeSince starting Myles on the Glyde, his mobility has greatly increased. The vet put him on it after leg surgery. He was the dog that never ran but just walked on a leash. Now he runs like all the other dogs and even has a little hop in his step. It worked so well that I put my other large dog on it and he is able to jump on the bed again. He hasn't done that in years... -

How long does this product last after the date of manufacture? For example, if the DOM is 11/2015, are they still good to use? And are the chews supposed to be really dark black and shiny? Or dry and brown? Thanks for answering!?
-
According to the manufacturer, Glyde™ chewables are good for two years after the date of manufacture (DOM). They have a soft, chewy consistency. The chews were also recently reformulated so they may appear firmer and lighter colored.

What is the dosage for this product by weight? If you would please show dosage info on the product pages, it would be easier for customers to determine amount they need to purchase. I foster GSDs for rescue, and often have 6 or 7 dogs in my home at once, ranging from 60-100+-lbs. I specialize in senior and special needs fosters. ALL OF THEM take joint supplements. Thanks.?

Is there a shelf life or "use by" on this product??
-
Glyde is a product produced by Parnell that promotes joint health and cartilage development for youthful mobility in dogs. There is shelf life/use by date but it is not directly printed on the container. The use by date is 2 years after the D.O.M. (date of manufacture) printed on the container. To make it less confusing for their customers; Parnell plans on putting an actual use by date on the container starting with their next production batch.
