Hydroxyzine is available in two salt forms: hydroxyzine hydrochloride and hydroxyzine pamoate. Your pharmacy should be able to tell you which form you received. They are similar, but not exactly the same. The human-labeled hydroxyzine products do not come as a 5 mg tablet though.
