Gel eyedrops are a welcome eye treatment
My pug suffers from dry eyes. I was giving him human eyedrops, but I couldn't always administer them as often as he needed them. The gel iDrops last longer and soothe his eyes better than the human drops. My vet was very happy that I found these drops and enthusiastically sanctioned my using them.
Most Liked Negative Review
Kept giving my dog an eye infection and drainage1
The product arrived quickly and as described. My poor review is not negative due to VetRX Direct. Everytime I use the drops my dog ended up with an eye infection so I would not recommend because I won't be able to use this product.

She was diagnosed several years ago with dry eyes and the Veterinarian recommended I-Drop Vet Gel. I give her the drop once daily before bed. She had no issues with her eyes since we stated the drop! Q & A

Yes hello my question is approximately how many drops can i expect to get for my dog from the idrop vet plus since it is a 10ml bottle?
-
Generally, there are 15 to 20 drops per ml in an eye drop depending upon several factors including the size of the hole the eye drops come out of and thickness of the medication. Since it is a 10 ml bottle, there should be about 150 to 200 drops.

How does this product differ from Kinetivet, OPTI.VET??
-
The i-drop Vet is a lubricating solution designed to keep the eye moisturized over extended periods of time and help relieve symptoms of Keratoconjunctivitis (KCS), or dry eye. The Opti Vet Eye Drops is an eye irrigating solution used to help cleanse irritated eyes, reduce itching and burning caused by allergies, and provide hydration for dry eyes.

can this replace flurbiprophen and do u need a script?
-
i-Drop is an over the counter, eye lubricant drop that helps keep the eye moisturized and reduce irritation caused by dry eye. i-Drop is not a substitution for the prescription eye drop Flurbiprofen, an anti-inflammatory medication. Flurbiprofen is used to reduce swelling, pain, and help treat uveitis and other conditions of the eye.

I need to know if the gel formula is equivalent to the out of stock solution. Is the word gel accurate? Is it a blink activated viscoadaptive clear solution, Hyaluronan 0.25%, or any other %? All we really need to know is can we safely use this in lieu?
-
I-drop Vet Gel is a viscoadaptive, blink-activated eye drop. The hyaluronan concentration for this product is 0.3%. I-drop Vet Plus is a viscoadaptive eye drop with a 0.25% hyaluronan concentration. Both eye medications are similar, but not equivalent. The gel formulation will be more viscous than the I-drop Vet Plus, and according to the package labeling may last longer. Be sure to discuss any changes of therapy for your pet with your veterinarian. Thank you, VetRxDirect

I keep checking back for availability of i-drop... Will it ever be available again?? It seems that it is unavailable everywhere. This is an absolute necessity for my dog, also on cyclosporine for severe dry eye. Why is manufacturer not filling orders??
-
Unfortunately, we do not have a date this will be back in stock. When products go on a manufacturer back order, they do not tell us when it will be available again. Once we are able to get it again though, we will update the website. Thank you, VetRxDirect
