Best price, great service
From UndisclosedComments about Ketorolac Tromethamine Eye DropsI have been using this prescription eye drop to treat my dog's juvenile cataract for a couple of years. I originally had the prescription filled at my local pharmacy and had to pay almost $100 for a 5ml bottle! I live over an hour from my dog's eye doctor, so it was not convenient to get refills from them -- and it was more expensive. VetRxDirect has the best price and the refill reminders via text are very handy. I have always received my order within days. -
Same exact product!

In humans Ketorolac can thin the cornea and thus shouldn't be use for someone with a corneal ulcer. Is this the same for dogs? My vet prescribed it to help with pain for my dog's corneal ulcer but I am hesitant to use it as it sounds like it can make it worse.?
-
In susceptible patients, Ketorolac Tromethamine Eye Drops could cause corneal thinning with prolonged use. Contact your veterinarian to address this concern specific to your pet.

Can this be used instead of Diclofenac Sodium Ophthalmic Solution? Or are they for different things? Mine was using the Diclofenac for years now after he had Cataract surgery but now is hard to find or too pricey. Is Ketorolac similar and good? Thanks.?

While diclofenac and ketorolac are in the same drug class (NSAIDs), substitutions for these medications should be determined by your pet's veterinarian. Talk to your veterinarian to determine the most appropriate medication for your pet.
