MAXI/GUARD OraZn Gel
- Manufacturer's suggested use: Apply gel directly to the outside gums above the back upper molars. One drop placed on your index finger, swab, or fingerbrush and applied on each side of the mouth will provide optimum pet acceptance in adult cats. Use slightly more for small dogs. Most medium to large dogs will accept direct application from the built-in applicator tip. A natural cleansing action will distribute the gel to remote areas of the mouth. Use daily for best results.
MAXI/GUARD Oral Cleansing Formula Spray
- Manufacturer's suggested use: Pour the contents of the tube into the MAXI/GUARD bottle, shake until dissolved, and spray. MAXI/GUARD can also be sprayed directly onto a pet toothbrush or gauze pad and applied to the outside of the pet's back molar teeth and gums.
MAXI/GUARD Oral Cleansing Gel
- Manufacturer's suggested use: Remove cap and applicator tip. Pour attached vial contents into gel. Snap applicator tip into place and replace cap. After ascorbic acid has dropped to bottom of gel, shake until dissolved. Holding your pet's head steady with one hand, place the applicator tip inside the corner of the mouth. Gently squeeze a small amount of gel onto the outside of the back upper molar teeth and gums. A natural cleansing action will distribute gel to remote areas. Use daily for best results.
MAXI/GUARD Oral Cleansing Wipes
- Manufacturer's suggested use: Wrap one oral wipe around index finger and gently wipe teeth and gums on both sides. For the first few applications or for large pets, more than one wipe may be used. Provide praise to the pet to ensure a positive experience. Dispose of used wipes properly. Use daily for best results.

Exceptional!
We have been using the Maxi/Gaurd Oral Cleansing Gel for many years and I highly recommend it. All of our kids have the cleanest and healthiest teeth and gums. Be sure to start using Maxi/Gaurd Oral Cleansing Gel when they are pups and they will look forward to every cleaning!

Too Difficult to Spray .....
My cat has a pretty small mouth and when i try to spray this on her teeth it is impossible. The cloud of solution that is sprayed out of the squirt cap is large enough for a Great Dane. I nearly cannot get this sprayed on my cat's teeth without getting it all over the side of her face. I've had to try resorting to using a finger but this has a consistency like water and drips off my finger easily. I can't confirm if the product works because I've not been able to use it enough to notice any improvements. I would suggest a redesign of the squirt cap to give people with smaller animals a chance at success!

OraZn Gel is the best for my cats
From Central FloridaComments about MAXI/GUARDI have used OraZn for years on my cats. It's the thickest gel of all the products. Put a drop on your finger and rub on the cats gums. Their tongue does the cleaning. It also freshens their breath. -
Excellent Product
From Florida, USAComments about MAXI/GUARDI've been buying this product for years. It is excellent. My dogs allow me to brush their teeth so I use it on a toothbrush to apply. No bad breath and the vet is always pleased with their teeth. My cats, I apply to the back upper corner of their gums. That's what is so great about this product; you don't have to brush their teeth with it, it will distribute around their mouth on it's own via the salivary glands and you only use a small amount. Maxi Guard will help keep your pet from having to get frequent dental cleanings and procedures. I apply it before I go to bed right after I brush my own teeth...that way, I don't forget to do it for them. -

Can this product cause diarrhea in some dogs??

According to the manufacturer there are no known or reported side effects of MAXI/Guard. The active ingredients in MAXI/Guard are Zinc and Vitamin C. At high doses these ingredients can potentially cause diarrhea. Speak to your veterinarian to determine if MAXI/Guard would be appropriate for your dog.

If I put a drop of this product on the back tooth and shortly thereafter he drinks water will the product work anyway. Is it necessary that I take the water away for a certain amount of time? Or do I need to repeat putting it on that tooth.?
