My cat is prescribed this medication at 30mg doses twice daily. We got it in capsules at this dose. Can it be compounded into a liquid? She has trouble swallowing it.?

We give mexilitine 150 3 times a day- at 6am at 2pm and at 10pm. we give sotalol 2 times a day-at 8am and 8pm. without fail!! just now we accidently gave the mexilitine 2 hours early ...can't get hold of the vet!! is our dog going to be OK??
