my little pom has a small cut on a front leg. can i spray this on to stop her from continually opening the cut because it bothers her and will the little bit i put on hurt her if she initially licks it?
-
Russel, Neo-Predef powder is a prescription only drug that may be used on your pets for minor cuts. This medication contains an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and an anesthetic. Ideally, the medication will help numb the area so she would stop licking it. However, if she were to ingest some of the medication adverse effects such as numbness of the tongue and mouth, dry mouth, and upset stomach may occur. This medication is only meant to be used for 2-3 days, so if the cut is re-occurring, I would recommend contacting your pet's veterinarian about other appropriate options. Thank you, VetRxDirect
