THIS WORKS!
Our 18 yr old cat has kidney disease and becomes anemic and extra tired without us administering Pet-Tinic everyday. Our cat has been using this product since May/2015 and is starting his 3rd 12oz. bottle.
Please do not give more than the dosage suggests.

Good product for healthy dogs, not for anemia caused by CKD
My Dog has Chronic Kidney disease, which causes anemia. This was the only product I was able find for pets that I felt was appropriate. It did help my dog for a time, I am very grateful! It didn't seem to cause him additional stomach or intestinal upset (which is great for an iron supplement:)). I am only giving 3 stars because for my dog's needs, it simply did not give him enough iron and it does not contain vitamin C (helps the body absorb the iron), and he seemed to have some reactions sometimes. So, I had to find a different source. For a healthy dog, too much iron can be lethal so this is possibly still a great product for healthy dogs (check with your vet :)). Lastly, Iron supplements for dogs have been very difficult for me to find, and when I needed it, this product was there. THANK YOU!

Great Product
From UndisclosedComments about Pet-TinicI give the Pet-Tinic to four cats. My Vet prescribed this for one of the older cats. Your price is a lot more affordable than from the Vet. -
It works!
From Keller, TXComments about Pet-TinicOur rescue vet recommended this for our foster dog who has kidney disease as a supplement to boost her immune system. Since we started it we have most notably seen a difference in her night time incontinence. It used to happen 6 out of 7 nights but after a week or so of taking the Pet-Tinic she's only had a few accidents - and it has been several weeks. I'm not sure how the two tie together but it's the only change we made - and it's made a big difference! -
Good juice!!!
From Washington, USAComments about Pet-TinicI give it to my Lab for her shedding (and overall health). She loves the stuff and reduces shedding to almost zero. Takes a couple weeks for full effect. I give her 2.5 mil morning and night. -
Great for ailing felines
From Harrisburg PAComments about Pet-TinicWe have used this product for many years, always purchasing it @ our local vets' office. So nice to now be able to find it online. Have seen remarkable recoveries, due in part to the use of these vitamins ( usually 1 ml/twice daily), most notably in several severely anemic cats & kittens. Easy to dose & very reasonably priced, to my mind it definitely belongs in the arsenal/first aid kit of any feline family. -

Pet Tinic is a miracle supplement!
From Albany, NY, USAComments about Pet-TinicI bought this for my eighteen year old cat who had started losing a lot of weight and has a chronic upper respiratory infection she can't seem to shake no matter what meds we have her on. I could see her sides starting to sink in. She has always been a very fussy cat food wise and usually turns her nose up at even soft food unless it's just the right kind. Within a week or two of starting Pet Tinic we were shocked. She filled right back out. She aggressively started trying to help herself to our food! Suddenly, everything was delicious to her and she will now eat anything I give her. She was begging for a chicken nugget the other day and chowed it down. (Of course she gave her little pieces) But she would have never done this before. This stuff is amazing in increasing appetite, helping them get nutrients, and putting weight on. A must have for any ill, aging, or malnourished pet!! I don't usually do reviews but I had to share this with other pet owners so their pets could be helped as well!! -
Fighting cancer & animia
From Towson, MDComments about Pet-TinicOne of my dogs has been battling lymphoma and anemia since last spring. His cancer is currently in remission. His oncologist recommended Pet-tinic as a supplement. He gets it twice daily, along with another supplement, and his anemia has been "resolved" for about three months. I have to believe that Pet-tinic at least contributed to this.; -

What type of iron do you use? Can I get information about its absorption??
-
According to the manufacturer’s product label, Pet-Tinic contains Iron Amino Acid Chelate. In general, iron supplements are absorbed throughout the gastrointestinal tract. They are best given with food, but should be avoided with dairy products as it can hinder iron absorption. Pet-Tinic may be given orally or mixed directly with food. For more specific information about the Iron in Pet-Tinic, you may contact the manufacturer, Zoetis, at 888-963-8471.

My cat with kidney disease and uncontrolled diabetes now has anemia and our Vet prescribed Pettinic I see it contains vitamin B12 and she gives my cat Vitamin B12 shots twice per month which really help him feel better. Is the amount of B12 in Pettinic potentially going to help him feel better more often? The diabetes and weight loss even though he eats like crazy (5 cans of k/d per day!) have made him very low in B12. Thanks?
