- PrednisoLONE Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension is a prescription steroid eye drop that can be used to reduce pain and inflammation caused by allergies, bacterial infections, or irritation from foreign objects in the eye.

This is literally giving my 14 1/2 year old 3 legged wonder
From UndisclosedComments about PrednisoLONE Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension 1%, 15ml BottleWith a degenerative spine disease that wreaks havoc on his ability to eliminate easily and given that anti-inflammatory injections were not an option for me to administer personally, my mobile vet thought outside the box and prescribed these quick absorbing and higher concentrated drops for his little swollen from straining bum. The result has literally given us hope. This is a trauma free/easy application and the results have been A+. He plays and purrs and while it isn't a cure, it's a huge relief for everyone!-

Hi, my canine was diagnosed with pannus and the vet has prescribed this along with cyclosporine. The first bottle that we got was a pink color, is this the same thing??

Why is the 15 ml sample greater than thre times the price of the 5 mL size. Shouldn't it be less? ?

Why is your prednisone acetate 5ml 1% so expensive $66 when other websites sell prednisone acetate 15 ml 1/% for $21??

Margi, Recently a nationwide shortage has driven up the acquisition cost of prednisolone. Many pharmacies are currently out of stock on the eye drops, and once they decide to carry it again, their prices will reflect current acquisition costs for the medication. When the price originally rose, we did not stock the medication either, but decided that we were doing a greater disservice by not making it available to pet owners in need of the medication. The price reflects the current cost of the medication; though we hope that the acquisition cost will become more reasonable in the near future, which will allow us to lower the price again. So until this drug becomes available, is there an alternative drug that is reasonably priced for my dog. She has hereditary glaucoma and she "needs" this medication or alternative.?
