Hello. Can you please tell me if this has any side effects in which the color of the pet's urine could change? Thank you for your assistance.?
-
According to the manufacturer, Pro-Pectalin has not been reported to change the color of a pet's urine. However, the urine may become darker or more concentrated due to decreased motility of the GI tract and increased urine retention. The manufacturer recommends the pet have an adequate supply of water at all times to increase hydration.

Does this medication stop the diarrhea? ?
-
Pro-Pectalin is a combination product that includes kaolin, which is a type of clay used to prevent diarrhea, pectin, a type of fiber found in fruits and vegetables, and Enterococcus faecium, which works as “good” bacteria in the gut in hopes to restore natural gut bacteria and decrease “bad” diarrhea-causing bacteria. Pro-Pectalin is intended to be used for mild diarrhea caused by diet, stress, or antibiotics. It is not intended for severe or life-threatening diarrhea. It would be important to discuss any diarrhea your pet is experiencing with a veterinarian in order to determine the cause before selecting a treatment. Thank you, VetRxDirect
