Makes A Difference
From MinnesotaComments about Pro-PectalinOur elderly dog has multiple end of life issues. Diarrhea is one of them. Feeding him Pro-Pectalin daily has helped control the diarrhea in a safe way. And he loves the taste of the chewable tablets. -
Poor Customer Service
From Corinth, TX, USAComments about Pro-PectalinHello, I ordered this product for my cat who has had diarrhea for several months following a move to a new home and the stress of a now mobile toddler. The product took a very long time to arrive which is not a huge problem itself, but wish it would have been expressed clearly before ordering. After feeding my cat the 1/2 a pill he threw up about an hour later. I tried once more 8 hours later thinking maybe he just had a hair ball or something and he threw up again. I realize spending $50 on a product that may not work is a risk, and one that I was willing to take. In order to learn more about what happened and ask for advice, I shared my experience in an email to the team (email address I had used before to follow up on arrival date, so I know they received it). See below. I do not understand why they have not replied and it seems they only care about selling their product versus having any interest in my experience with their product or about my cats health. Hello, I was hoping you could help me with some advice about my order. The Pro-Pectalin arrived yesterday and I gave my cat 1/2 a pill (he weights 13lbs), he threw it up with his food about a half hour later. Since I wasn?t sure if it was the probiotics or not I hesitantly tried again 8 hours later, same result. Have you heard of this happening? I?m just so bummed. My cat?s had persistent diarrhea for some time now and read so many good reviews on how this product would help. Not to mention the cost. He did enjoy the taste and gobbled it right down. Thanks for any advice Lisa Mullen -
Big Help
From TexasComments about Pro-PectalinOur German Shepherd dog was stricken with a life threatening systemic fungal infection. After a year of treatment she miraculously survived. However, she is unable to take steroids or other immunosuppressant medications to control her Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She can take Pro-Pectalin on a daily basis to help control her symptoms without dangerous side-effects. It's not 100% effective, but has worked well enough that she has finally put on much needed weight so she looks like a normal dog instead of a starved famine victim. Thank you Pro-Pectalin for helping our dog cope better with her chronic illness! -
Tummy Help!
From TexasComments about Pro-PectalinMy Chihuahua's all get upset tummy's every now and then. In fact, just the other day, my female would not eat her food and her stomach was making so much noise, I felt so sorry for her. I gave her a little of the Pro-Pectalin and within an hour, the noises stopped and she ate her food. -
Good to have on hand. Easy to Use
From Hernando, FL, USAComments about Pro-PectalinOur dog's occasional diarrhea responds well to a dose or two. Dosage with weight requirements are listed on the label. Same product and manufacturer as item bought from our vet's office. -
Greatly helps with diarrhea
From Belton, MO, USAComments about Pro-PectalinI can't believe the prices that vets charge for this product after reading other reviews. My vet charged $20 for 60 tablets. It saved my dog with her diarrhea and so glad to find this product online. My dog eats the pills like a treat. Vet RX Direct made the transaction very easy and I received the product very quickly with a little personal "thank you" note. I will absolutely use them again! Thanks, Vet RX Direct. -
Very Necessary.
From Newport Beach, CA, USAComments about Pro-PectalinThese make the difference between urine spots or no urine spots. Couldn't live with out them. :-) -
Safe, effective
From Houston, TXComments about Pro-PectalinOur dog has had chronic diarrhea for several years - first as a side-effects from anti-fungal medication and now from irritable bowel syndrome. These tablets are safe for her to take every day and help with symptoms. She can leave home for a walk without worry about loose stools that cannot be cleaned up. She seems to have less gastric distress in general. They don't cure her, but do a very good job controlling her symptoms that had kept her (and us) from enjoying life.

May i know bout the exp date? And can we buy around 10 - 15 pcs thx?
-
Can I give this daily for 15 year old chihuahua that is underweight and a very picky eater? It seems to stimulate her appetite. But her stools are now back to normal but she loves it! Thank you.?

This anti-diarrheal and probiotic supplement is used as an aid in the treatment of noninfectious diarrhea, nausea, and upset stomach. It contains Enterococcus faecium, which has probiotic benefits in the gut. It also contains Kaolin and Pectin which work to bind irritating bacterial waste products and decrease diarrheal symptoms and firm the stool. Please consult with your veterinarian as they would be the one to determine if continued use of Pro-Pectalin is necessary and recommended.
