- ProZinc syringes come in a convenient case that can be used to safely discard of the used syringes.
- ProZinc 3/10cc syringes hold up to 12 units of insulin and have half-unit marks for easy dosing of low amounts of insulin.

great product!
From Connecticut, USAComments about ProZincPro zinc has kept my cat alive and healthy for the last 4 years and I will keep her on it for as long as she needs it. Predictable blood sugar levels with this insulin, no side effects for her and it keeps for a loooooooong time. She only takes one unit twice daily and it has 300 units in it so u can image how much we would be wasting if we had to trash it after a month like most insulins. It has a long shelf life and I feel confident that it's quality will be maintained until the expiration date. -

Great product and great vendor service
From Newton, NC, USAComments about ProZincI previously purchased ProZinc insulin from another vendor. Their price was very good and the service seemed good also. After several more orders and numerous order and shipping problems, I changed to VetRxDirect and am thankful I did. I don't have to worry about getting this very important medication for my cat now. VetRxDirect is competitive in pricing and their service is so reliable. I now have peace of mind knowing that my cat will have her much needed insulin.....and in a timely manner. I also like the "thank you" card from them enclosed with my product...nice extra touch. This insulin has been great in controlling my cat's diabetes....very stable and under control. It is not cheap but she does not seem to have the peaks and valleys with her glucose control as with a previous medication. (We do glucose curves routinely.) Also this insulin seems to mix better and not have the problems that some other insulins have had. I am very satisfied with this product and with the service from VetRxDirect.

There are two separate products on the ProZinc Insulin page. The first product is the insulin itself. The insulin comes in a 10mL vial and contains 40 units of insulin per mL. The second product is the Diabetes Care Kit. This kit contains 100 syringes, the syringe disposal container, and a pet owner brochure. The insulin is sold separately from the Diabetes Care Kit.

I just received a bottle of Prozinc from VetRxDirect. After opening, is this insulin effective until the expiration date on the bottle, if kept refrigerated and not seeing any changes in it's appearance or does it need to be discarded after 30 days????
-
As long as you are using sterile needles and visually inspect your solution before each use, you can use Prozinc until the expiration date on the bottle. Discard any remaining insulin if you notice any changes in color or visual signs of contamination. Thank you, VetRxDirect

how much to ship this medication?
-
Marypat, Any medication that requires refrigerated shipping, like insulin, will require Next Day shipping. The typical cost for standard Next Day shipping is $19.99 for orders under 2 pounds. Most Next Day orders are under 2 pounds, but ordering a quantity of syringes might increase the shipping cost, which will be reflected during checkout. Typical Next Day orders only ship Monday through Thursday, as Saturday is not considered a deliverable day by FedEx (our typical expedited carrier) for standard expedited and requires an additional charge. If you need an order to ship on a Friday, it does require Next Day with Saturday Delivery and the cost for that service is $39.99. You will be able to select the Saturday Delivery during check out if that is your preference, otherwise, the refrigerated items will default to standard Next Day delivery. Thank you, VetRxDirect
