Has been working for us!
This powder was an experimental suggestion from the dermatologist to my vet along with Zyrtec - my cat is unable to be on regular allergy meds for cats as they're immuno-suppressing & he had a scary situation happen because of mycoplasma. He would lick his legs clean of his hair & big patches off of his back - after 2 months of this in conjunction with the Zyrtec he is about 85% better. He still can get a little aggressive with his grooming but he doesn't have bald patches & I'm not pulling my hair out either trying to figure out what is going on. I am so thankful this is a thing!

Disappointing
Well, I really can't rate it because I can't get my cat to take it! As far as I can tell, the feline option is only a powder. It's very grainy, and my cat needs 1.5 scoops a day for her weight. Even splitting it into 3 doses, she won't eat the wet food which she generally loves when this powder is mixed in. Whether it's the texture or the smell (yes, it definitely has a strange smell despite the description that it does not) that's keeping her from eating it, I have no idea. All I know is that she won't. I'm very disappointed as I had great hopes for this product to help her with her skin allergies and itching. $50+ dollars wasted and I can't return it since I did use a minute amount. Back to the drawing board, I guess.

This is one of my Go-to supplements!
From UndisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraI have a dog who has horrible allergies. He'd been on a constant rotation of prednisone and apoquel for the three years I've had him. And his skin has been awful. Somehow, I'd heard about Redonyl Ultra and figured it was worth a try. It has really helped a lot. It keeps his skin hydrated and helps keep the inflammation down. I'm really glad I discovered it. -
Highly recommend

I will buy this product over and over again!!
From UndisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraOMG.....my dog has not looked so comfortable in the last 4 years since putting him on this supplement. He used to lick his feet a lot, so much that he spent a lot of time in his cone because we were putting medication on his feet and he would want to lick it off. Since using this product, he barely touches his feet! No more sores, hot spots or yeast overgrowth!! -
I will buy again and again
From UndisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraMy dog has had presumed food and environmental allergies which presented when he a few months old and has had recurrent skin infections since that time and significant hair loss. Since starting Redonyl, he's been more comfortable w/ less itching, fewer skin infections and a better coat than he has had in 6 years. Very thankful for this product. -
Fast results
From UndisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraMy lab has started showing some allergies and our doc wanted our dog to try this instead of drugs. It has helped a lot. It does take a little time but be patient. The itchiness has gotten way better and in return we have a happy dog. -

Hopeful it will work
From undisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraJust started giving to my dog one week ago. She thinks it is a treat, LOL! Vet Dermatologist told me it may help minimize dog's allergies and to regrow her hair. Have read on the Internet- a version of it, used in other countries, may take 6-8 weeks to notice a response. Dechra has reformulated it for the US market, and just available in May. Will update later. -
I will reserve that comment until I finish this bottle for t
From undisclosedComments about Redonyl UltraFirst my dog does not like the product and she eats anything. However if I smash it and tear it in 2 she will eat it with some coaxing. So far after a week her itching has lessened.

Q & A
-
Can felines have the 100mg chews? I feel like I have a better chance of getting my cat to eat that vs the powder.?
-
Depending on the weight of your cat, it may be possible to use the chewable tablet. One scoop of Redonyl Ultra Feline is equivalent to 60mg of ultra-micronized Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA-um) while 1 Redonyl Ultra chewable contains 100mg or 200mg based on the strength purchased. However, it is recommended that you consult with your veterinarian before making the change to ensure you are giving your cat the correct dose.

I just got some Atopica for my cat's EG rodent ulcers caused by allergies. After reading the information I'm scared to give it to him. Have you had results of your supplement working for this problem? Thank you.?
-
Please speak to your veterinarian about any concerns using the drug, Atopica. Your veterinarian has the most accurate information regarding your pets medical history and can provide information specifically as it relates to your pet. The Atopica is going to reduce the immune system response to allergens and help with itching and inflammation. The Atopica would be for treatment, whereas the Redonyl Ultra supplement is going to be a preventative. It works by strengthening the skin’s barrier and immune defense from the allergens and irritants. Based on the product reviews we have gotten back from owners the product has worked for their pets skin problems caused by allergies. However none of them specifically mention EG rodent ulcers. It is recommended that you talk to your vet about starting new supplements and talk to them about any questions or concerns you may have.

How to disguise smell and/or taste so dog will eat the chews?
-
Getting your dog to take a medication can be challenging. Pill pockets are an option to help mask the smell and taste of the medication. They are available in several different flavors for your dog to enjoy. They contain a built in pouch to put the medication in and then you can pinch it closed and give it to your dog. You can also consult your veterinarian for additional recommendations.
