  • SAMeLQ Chewable Tablets come in three different doses: 100 mg, 225 mg, and 425 mg. The 100 mg and 225 mg chewables are for both cats and dogs. 425 mg chewables are for dogs only.

What problems could my dog or cat have with SAMeLQ Chewable Tablets?

  • Use caution if in use with antidepressants.
  • Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. 
  • If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
  • Keep out of reach of children and animals.

How do you use SAMeLQ Chewable Tablets?

  • Use as directed by your veterinarian.
  • Tablets should be given on an empty stomach, at least one hour before a meal.
SAMeLQ 100
  • Dogs and cats up to 10 lbs, 1/2 tablet daily. Dogs and cats 10 to 15 lbs, 1 tablet daily. Dogs and cats 15.1 to 20 lbs, 1 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs 20.1 to 25 lbs, 2 tablets daily. Dogs 25.1 to 30 lbs, 2 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs 30.1 to 35 lbs, 3 tablets daily.
SAMeLQ 225
  • Dogs and cats 10 to 15 lbs, 1/2 tablet daily. Dogs and cats 15.1 to 30 lbs, 1 tablet daily. Dogs 30.1 to 45 lbs, 1 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs 45.1 to 60 lbs, 2 tablets daily. Dogs 60.1 to 85 lbs, 2 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs 85.1 to 100 lbs, 3 tablets daily.
SAMeLQ 425
  • Dogs 15.1 to 30 lbs, 1/2 tablet daily. Dogs 30.1 to 55 lbs, 1 tablet daily. Dogs 55.1 to 85 lbs, 1 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs  85.1 to 115 lbs, 2 tablets daily. Dogs 115.1 to 160 lbs, 2 and 1/2 tablets daily. Dogs over 160 lbs, 3 tablets daily.

  • Active ingredients per tablet: S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine 100 mg; Proprietary blend of Quercetin, N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, L-Taurine, Zinc Ascorbate, Ammonium Glycyrrhizinate (Licorice Root Extract), and B Vitamins 70.7 mg.
