Great to Keep on Hand - Better Price than Vet!
From UndisclosedComments about B.N.P. Triple Antibiotic Eye OintmentAlong with Metronidazole for upset stomachs (strong antibiotic primarily used as an anti-diarrheal to treat inflammation of the large intestine), this ocular antibiotic is a must-have for all of our canine companions. Like all prescription medication, use only at the request and under prescription guidance of your vet but definitely keep this on hand - especially for dogs that get frequent (3-4/year) eye infections. -

Q & A
-
Is this product for humans? And will it take care of pink eye??
-
Pinkeye or conjunctivitis can be have a variety of different causes including allergies, bacteria, viruses and fungi. While there is a similar product labeled for human use, B.N.P Triple antibiotic eye ointment only contains ingredients to treat a bacterial infection and is not appropriate treatment for all forms of pinkeye. Pinkeye can be highly contagious and should be assessed by a doctor or veterinarian before treatment is chosen. B.N.P triple antibiotic ointment labeled for human use can be used in animals under the direction of a veterinarian. Thank you, VetRxDirect

Can you use this for kittens also? My kitten is five weeks old. Thanks!?
-
Nore, While B.N.P. Triple Antibiotic Ointment is safe for use in cats of any age, there is a rare, but evident risk of allergic reaction to this medication in some cats. When administering this medication, remember to wash your hands before and after each use. Gently clean any debris from your pet’s eye with a moist cloth and try to avoid contact of the tip of the medication tube with the eye to prevent contamination. Please consult your veterinarian regarding dosage and duration of therapy with this medication. Thank you, VetRxDirect
