Hi! What is the lubrication made of??

I currently am using the VetOne Insulin syringe. U-100 29G 1/2" 1/2cc. I am needing to give my dog 8 1/2 units. The 3/10 cc syringe has 1/2 marks correct? Is the dosage the same as the 1/2cc if I switch??

VetriJec U-100 3/10 cc 31G syringes have ½ unit markings, however, the 3/10 cc 29G syringes do not have ½ unit markings. The 31G needles have a slightly smaller circumference than the 29G needles. The 3/10 cc syringes hold up to 30 units of insulin. The 1/2 cc syringes hold up to 50 units of insulin. You can administer the same dose of insulin using the 3/10 cc 31G syringes so long as the dose does not exceed 30 units.

The VetOne U-100 Insulin Syringes are available in 3/10 cc (30 unit) and go up in increments of 0.5 units, 1/2 cc (50 unit) and go up in increments of 1 unit, and 1 cc (100 unit) and go up in increments of 2 units.
