I need a syringe with 1/2 unit markings, which do I buy?

On the 3/10cc U-40 insulin syringes going to the 12 mark. My dog needs 9 units. Drawing insulin to the number nine mean I am reading it right. My vet assistant gave me different needles than before. I had U-40 going to 20 mark. Im sure this question sounds stupid but my vet is out sick and I need to know.now. Thanks?

U-40 insulin syringes are offered in different sizes depending on the manufacturer. The total capacity of the syringes, or the amount of “units” it holds may vary, but the unit markings are labeled the same. To this effect, drawing 9 units of insulin is the same, either with a U-40 syringe with 12 total unit markings, or a syringe with 20 total unit markings.

It appears that the picture shows the u40 as being the 3/10cc low dose 29G X 1/2 Correct? If so, thats what I need. My kittie only get 1/2 a unit and the others I purchased were too big. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you Stephanie?

My question is exactly that . Of the question above . I have just received some of your U40 Insulin syringes 3/10cc 29 gauge x 1/2 ". To use for my diabetic cat . The increments seem to be much farther apart that my previous syringes . Is there a conversion from regular units on regular syringes to the 3/10cc syringes that I have now ? it seems like thee has to be . Could you please give me a table ? Thank you Paul Boppart?

does Vet One make a 31 G 1CC syringe??

Vet One does not manufacture 31G 1CC syringes. CarePoint Vet does produce 31G 1CC syringes, however this is only in a strength of 100U/ml. It is best to consult with your cat or dog's veterinarian on conversion of Insulin doses as the CarePoint Vet U-100 syringes carry more insulin than U-40 syringes and require careful dosing to deliver the same amount.
