How do you use Anxitane?

  • Talk to your veterinarian before using this product and follow their specfic directions for use.
  • Anxitane Small Directions for Use: For cats' long term administration, give 1/2 tablet by mouth twice daily. For episodic administration to cats, give 1/2 tablet by mouth every 12 hours and 2 hours before the event, and give 1/2 tablet every 6 hours during the event. For long term administration to dogs under 22 lbs, give 1/2 tablet by mouth twice daily. For the episodic administration of dogs up to 22 lbs, give 1/2 tablet by mouth every 12 hours and 2 hours before the event, and give 1/2 tablet every 6 hours during the event.
  • Anxitane Medium/Large Directions for Use: For dogs' 22.1-55 lbs long term administration, give 1/2 tablet by mouth twice daily. For their episodic administration, give 1/2 tablet by mouth every 12 hours and 2 hours before the event, and give 1/2 tablet every 6 hours during the event. For dogs' 55.1 lbs and up long term administration, give 1 tablet by mouth twice daily. For episodic administration for  dogs 55.1 lbs and up, give 1 tablet by mouth every 12 hours and 2 hours before the event, and give 1 tablet every 6 hours during the event.
