Q & A

I bought this product for my dog a few years ago at the recommendation of his PT. The vet disagreed with its use at the time because she was using homeopathics and the two didn't "mix". Now the PT is recommending it again the the product is one year out of date. It's been stored in a dark closet and never opened. Will it still have potency at this point??
-
It is not recommended to use supplements after their expiration date because the safety and efficacy of the medication cannot be guaranteed.

Should it be given with food??
-
According to the manufacturer, this product can be given with or without food. For optimum effectiveness, the manufacturer recommends giving the capsules so that they are swallowed whole by hiding capsules in a snack. It is not recommended to break open the capsule(s) and mix with food or water due to the powder bitterness and possible reduced effectiveness when exposed to water.

The bottle for large dogs is 180 capsules and the small breed is 120 capsules. These do come in a capsule form so they do not have a flavor added. Thank you, VetRxDirect

My 6 yr old French Bulldog was just diagnosed with IVDD. We have chosen crate rest and no surgery. We know the ruptured disc will be there. He is walking with very little evidence of any ataxia. Will Rejuvdnate Plus increase mobility and support the disc?
-
Rejuvenate Plus is a nonprescription muscle and joint supplement that may help improve a dog's natural joint and muscle repair process. According to the manufacturer’s website, Rejuvenate Plus has been studied for the management of osteoarthritis in dogs. As IVDD is different than osteoarthritis, it is recommended that you contact your veterinarian prior to beginning this supplement to determine if this supplement would be beneficial for your dog.
