Significantly helped my senior Golden Retriever
I adopted my Golden Retriever, Alli, at the age of 11 from a rescue and she is now a few weeks shy of 16. When she first came into rescue she was pretty grouchy and apt to snap unexpectedly if touched in the wrong place or the wrong way. The rescue's vet diagnosed her with arthritis and I believe her grouchiness was very much related to pain from the arthritis. She was put on Putney carprofen right after her vet exam and has been on this medication continuously ever since. It has made a huge difference in her mobility and overall quality of life. She has never had any side effects from taking the medication and has mellowed significantly over the four years that I've been blessed to have her in my life. Ordering from Vet Rx Direct has been a very smooth and easy process and shipment is always very prompt.

I will not buy this product again
Tried Rimadyl and it was great but expensive. Tried Putney Carprofen tablets and they worked a little, then tried chewable and they did not work at all. Could see dramatic decline in overall well-being. Went back to using Rimadyl and both our Irish Terriers improved dramatically. One Irish is 15, the other 8.

There has been a very noticeable improvement in his quality of life since he started takeing them. Before he was sluggish,tired and stiff alot and usually made a groaning noise when he layed down. Now he acts more like he's 3 than 12. He continued to hunt and retrieve geese this past winter on the Chesapeake Bay and plays and carries on with my 2 yr old Chessie like he's her age. I wrap one of these in a treat or piece of chicken and she has no issue at all! She is a 13 year old lab with severe arthritis and she is running again and acting like a 8 year old lab!
