I love this product because it helps my baby/cat continue to live with his bowel cancer

Be careful if your dog is allergic to chicken!
I previously made a review that this product was perfect for my pup with IBD. It was absolutely easy to give her, she loved it and ate it willingly. However, after about a week of use, she had SEVERE diarrhea. The worse we've ever seen. After eliminating everything else but her kibble for a week and still having no response, we decided to eliminate this. She has a severe chicken allergy. This containing hydrolyzed chicken, supposedly her body should not detect it. Well it did. Within 2 days of eliminating the cobalequin, her BMs went back to normal. After doing some research, 40% of dogs with a chicken allergy still detect hydrolyzed chicken. So just be aware of that. Otherwise, great product.

Good service & good prices
From UndisclosedComments about CobalequinSeveral years ago my dogs experienced pancreatitis. My Vet recommended Cobalequin. Unfortunately it is only sold online. VetRXDirect has good services and prices. I ordered the wrong size by accident. They happily accepted the return. They state they have the option to charge a return fee so I am hoping they waive the fee and provide a full refund. -
Easy to administer and no adverse effects.

Couldn't be happier!
From UndisclosedComments about CobalequinMy cat Baby was diagnosed with Lymphoma seven months ago. Due to the medications he is on (chemo ect) he needs a vitamin B supplement. I am unable to inject my son with the subcutaneous shots so my vet offered Cobalequin as an alternative. This saves me from going to the vet each week to have his shot administered. Never have I had an issue getting Baby to take his Cobalequin. He has had his blood work done several times since switching from the shots to Cobalequin. The Internal Specialist we see has always been pleased with his levels! I couldn't be happier! He gets his vitamin B, I don't have to do shots, I trust the quality and the company, and he is cared for! -
B12 Supplement
From UndisclosedComments about CobalequinI was prescribed this via my vet due to b12 levels being low in previous tests. She came off of it once her levels were in the "normal" range. But were advised to keep her on it from here on out. They said it is good for her to be taking and won't hurt her to continue taking in the long run and is very very difficult to overdose. So she is back on these, getting just one chewable per day and seems to be just fine. They are pretty small (I have a 16lb dog) and she doesn't seem to mind eating it. I just throw it in with her food and she gobbles it right up.

Is it safe to give a 8-10 lb cat more than the 1 daily tablet? Will he just excrete any excess B12? My cat LOVES these and he is very hard to feed. I'm trying to switch him to a healthier semi raw food & if I could sprinkle an extra tablet on his food I know he'd eat it. I just don't want to make him sick with too much Cobalequin. If I just sprinkle the 1 (daily) tablet then he doesn't always eat all the food, so doesn't get all the B12 benefit. Thanks in Advance for your answer.?

The manufacturer has performed no tests related to and has no information on the effects of giving more than the recommended dose of Cobalequin. Please consult your veterinarian regarding whether giving this dose would be appropropriate for your cat.
