Works very well!
From undisclosedComments about EndosorbWe were originally prescribed Endosorb for our mini Schnauzer to treat diarrhea and chronic loose stools. It works great and our boy will take them right out of our hands. Of course our boy likes to sample anything he finds on the ground outside which is part of the problem causing belly upset and loose stools. We only give him one pill twice per day to keep his stools normal. I highly recommend this medication and it's a great price through VetRxDirect! -

Tablets to help for diarrhea
From undisclosedComments about EndosorbThis is the exact tablet that I got from the veterinarian's office so I was thrilled to find it it's simply is a little bit something that you mix in with your dog's food and it helps them to dry up if they have a little stuff in their system that's giving them some diarrhea it's perfectly safe -
Awesome product!!
From undisclosedComments about EndosorbOur Bella is a 5 month-old Shephard/Rottie mix who recently had intestinal issues we believe stemmed from the pool chlorine at doggie daycare. She had bad bouts if diarrhea but yet she had a voracious appetite and the energy of a puppy as you would expect. Our vet suggested clay tablets while we were getting blood work done. The clay tabs have been a Godsend!! It helps with her digestion and her stools are much, more solid and formed. This product is great and we will continue with using it. And the cost is extremely reasonable and far cheaper than our vet!-

Great Online Service & Great Product
From undisclosedComments about EndosorbWe were so happy to find this online pharmacy (and glad to see they are a member of ".pharmacy", which means they are a safe online pet pharmacy) from which we could order OTC Endosorb Suspension. We originally got it from a Vet, to whom we had taken our Miniature Yorkie (while we were traveling), and it helped our Yorkie almost immediately. She had been having diarrhea, with some blood in it. She wasn't eating well and not acting her normal self. After her first dose of Endosorb Suspension, she started to act more normal, and we could tell she felt better. With the diarrhea and blood, the Vet also gave her an antibiotic, but if she just seems to not be feeling well, or not eating, or isvery gassy, we just give her the Endosorb and don't take her to the vet. It always seems to help her immediately. If she gets worse or has the diarrhea and/or blood, we take her to the vet. Thanks for your great service, vetrxdirect!! -

Dose for up to 50lb is 2tab every 4 hours. My girl (12 yr. old German shepard) is over 80 lbs. Is it safe to assume I can give 3 tabs. Also, is there any issue with her not chewing the tabs? She swallows them whole. She's a bit of a pig!?
-
According to the manufacturer, it is recommended that a dog weighing between 76 lbs to 100lbs should take 4 tablets every 4 hours. Not chewing the tablets can increase the risk of choking. The stomach will also need to work harder to digest the unchewed food which can lead to bloating or abdominal discomfort.

How do I give the oral suspension to my pup? He needs 15ml and I need ideas for how to give it to him bc out of the syringe and down his throat isn't working and he's beginning to trust me less. Breaking my heart!?
-
Endosorb is sold as both a tablet and an oral suspension. The suspension is designed to be administered orally with a syringe. Please consult with your veterinarian for administration techniques or to see if the chewable tablets might be a good option.
Verified Answer -
Have a VERY tasty treat in your hand as you use the syringe and immediately pop the treat in his mouth as/after you give him the medicine. It's very important that you prepare ahead so that you can give the treat almost simultaneously with the dose in the syringe -of course the treat comes after but so close after that there's no time for the pup to wait/question. The treat should be a high-value to your pup, like meat or freeze-dried liver. Never call him to you to give this! Always go to him for this or any other thing that he considers unpleasant. Insert the syringe from the side of his mouth where there is a space with no teeth. Praise him profusely. You will not ruin your relationship with your pup if you follow these instructions.😊 The trick is to make everything involved as happy for your pup as possible so the medicine does not take center stage.

What is the shelf life of endosorb tablets. I was prescribed some from my vet in July 2019 Are they still good??
-
Expiration dates vary based on the date the batch was manufactured. The Endosorb stock bottle only lists a lot number and not an expiration date. The company would be able to provide an expiration date based on the lot number if provided to them. If Endosorb was dispensed by your veterinarian, the bottle may list a default expiration date which is usually 1 year from the date of dispensing or sooner if the product expires sooner.

will this cause constipation??
-
The main ingredient in Endosorb is called Attapulgite, which is a form of clay that binds to large amounts of bacteria to help reduce water loss from diarrhea. Endosorb should only be given while the dog or cat is experiencing nonspecific diarrhea and should be discontinued once a normal stool consistency is reached. Please consult your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication.
