It works!
I purchased this collar on the advice of my vet, for one of my resident cats who suddenly was showing aggression towards my foster cats. The very day I hung the collar the beat downs stopped. Later I hung one on my old girl that is nervous and high strung. It took a few days but she's now much calmer and more relaxed.

Significant Behavioral Improvement

One is paranoid, fearful and aggressive from cognitive issues due to aging, one is a scaredy cat and the last is my bully. I put a collar on each of them and have seen significant improvement in all of them far more than when using just Feliway plug-ins and sprays alone. I'm not sure if some cats are more sensitive than others to the effects of the pheromones, but all my cats are happier and live more peacefully with each other when the collars are on. I took them off for a few days to see what the effect would be and the negative behaviors returned. Worth the monthly investment for me for a happier feline household. -

Regarding the NurtureCALM 24/7 collar for dogs, the web site says: "For additional information about NurtureCALM click the "More Information" and "Package Insert" tabs above. " However there are NO "Package Insert or More Information" tabs on the page. I'm interested in knowing if there are any medications that this collar should NOT be used with.?

I am having trouble figuring out how best to get the collar on the cat. It is a struggle to get it short enough to fit because I'm not sure how to use the buckle. Do I press the tab or lift it to make the collar slide easily to shorten it? Do I do something else? It gets larger every day and I have to shorten it again. Thank you.?

I since you are asked to use soap and water to clean hands after placing collar on cat I am wondering if the cat licks areas around or by the collar harmful to the cat, especially while grooming. They could rub the collar with a wet paw.?

Does the collar need to directly contact the cat to be effective? I'm thinking of gluing a section of it to the outside of my cat's existing collar to reduce irritation. Would this work? (The actual calming collar is far, far too long for my little cat's neck, so I need to cut it at least in half, anyway.) Thanks!?

If the collar is too long for your kitten’s neck, feel free to cut off excess portions of the collar, leaving 1-2 inches for extra adjustment.
