Ocu-Glo Can Make A Real Difference !!!
My12 year old Cairn Terrier Maggie started losing her vision suddenly in October 2013. I took her to an eye specialist who recommended Ocu-Glo after diagnosing her with SARDS (sudden aquired retina deterioration). The Ocu-Glo seemed to help slow the deterioration in her vision within a matter of days. Today in March of 2015 although Maggie is almost completely blind she still has some light perception most days. She has adapted, has a terrific attitude and is loaded with spunk. Once I forgot to order a replacement bottle in time and Maggie ran out before the new supply arrived. I could see the difference in her within two days as she stumbled around. When she got back on the med six days later she navigated her way around with great improvement! I will never let her run out again!
My furry baby deserves the best as she has given back 10 fold in love all of her life. She motivates the entire family with her can do attitude and spirit. Go Maggie! You are well worth the investment in this product!

our 11 yr old Springer Spaniel was dx with SARDS and the specialist recommended we give this a try. We know that she will lose her vision completely and don't really know if this has slowed down the progress but it's one of those things of "what if I didn't give it to her, would it have prolonged her vision" situation. We hide it in a large piece of "cheap" hot dog so she doesn't really take time to give it a good "chomp" before it's down. It has a horrible smell once punctured tho! We shall see at our follow up with the specialist at our next visit as to how the loss of vision has progressed. Our difficult situation is that she is also deaf....

From Los AngelesComments about Ocu-GLOOur dog was diagnosed with PRA (Progresseive Retinal Atrophy) when she was 5 years old. She is a cockapoo (we think) and we were told this is a common condition for cockapoos and other breeds. Both our regular vet and an animal eye specialist we took her to told us that she would likely be blind in a year, and most certainly with two years. As soon as we learned of her diagnosis, we started giving her Ocu-GLO every day. Even though our vet and the eye specialist were very doubtful of the possible benefits, we figured if there was a chance it would work, we would try it. It's now 4 years later and our dog is still seeing, not blind. She has had some degradation in her vision. It's become a bit harder for her to see at night. But during the day she still seems to have good vision. We play fetch with her and she recognizes people and can navigate outside when we go for walks. Also, she has no signs of cataracts (she's now 9 years old) and we don't know when that would normally start showing, but we feel that Ocu-GLO might be keeping those at bay also. Although this product is not cheap -- for us it comes out to about 75 cents a day -- we feel it is well worth the results. Our wonderful dog can see! It also has the possible benefit that she won't have cataracts. I would really recommend this for anyone with a dog diagnosed with PRA.-

Worth a try!
From OhioComments about Ocu-GLOMy Greyhound was 2 1/2 when I adopted him and he had already been diagnosed with Progressive Retinal Atrophy. He will eventually be blind. There is nothing that is going to prevent his blindness however I started giving him Ocu-GLO right away and he has been taking it for 2 years now and there does not seem to be any noticeable changes in his vision loss. It is worth the money to me if it could be potentially delaying the inevitable. -

Her eyes have visually cleared up almost to normal, pretty brown eyes and her peripheral vision loss does not appear to have progressed at all. I took her off & tried store bought human brands due to exorbitant cost of Ocu-Glo. The eye cloudiness came back & was severe. Put her back on Ocu-Glo and her pretty brown eyes are sparking again like a young dog. This stuff is fantastic! -

The veterinary opthamologist recommended this product. She has been on this for 10 months and her eyesight seems to be stable, but until she gets rechecked in June, I won't know for sure. The pill is large for her size but since this is our daily routine along with eye drops, she has gotten used to the routine. If this product can delay the inevitable blindness, it will be worth it. -

The older product may appear more yellow, while the newer product may appear more orange in color. Astaxanthin is a naturally-occurring carotenoid found in algae, shrimp, lobster, crab and salmon. I am no vet but when we took our 5 year old Schnauzer to the Ophthalmologist for Retinal Degeneration, he recommended we also give it to our 10 year old Schnauzer for cataracts to slow down the process. Just thought I would share :)

According to the manufacturer, the strength of the liquid gel caps for medium to large dogs (> 11 lbs) is 350 mg. The strength of the liquid snip caps for small dogs (< 10 lbs) is 175 mg. Giving two of the liquid snip caps for small dogs would provide an equal amount to one of the liquid gel caps for medium to large dogs.
