Senilife Saved My Akita and Gave Us a Miracle
My 13 year old akita Lupercus was in a downward spiral physically and mentally. His physical problems were related to his varied diagnoses. The mental problems were in part related to his deteriorating vision and hearing which left him vulnerable and consequently made him anxious and defensive. His old age related dementia was exacerbated by the pain medications which were designed to alleviate discomfort by inhibiting the nerves from firing and sending pain messages to the brain. There's one major problem with that treatment: if the nerves aren't firing in your body, then they're not firing in your head (Blood carries the medication throughout your system.). If the nerves in you head/brain aren't firing, you can forget about remembering, learning, problem solving, or basic voluntary motor functioning. This was the case with Lupercus. He was afraid to be away from me and was pulling out his hair when I was at work. He would get "lost" in the apartment, and he would bark and growl at me because he didn't know who I was. If his leash was to short for him to walk one way, he no longer realized he could walk the other way. He would stumble when he walked and no longer had sufficient perception to even navigate up or down a curb. The stress negatively impacted his apetite, and as a result, he was losing body (I.e. muscle) mass. He was getting weaker, and he had zero quality of life. The vet thought that it was time for Lupercus to be "put to sleep." As a shot in the dark.last resort, he suggested we try Senilife. Within 3 days there was noticeable improvement. Within 3 months, there were absolutely no neurological, mental, or behavioral deficits detected. There were still some mobility issues related to the arthritis, but those were to be addressed by cold laser treatments. In closing, I would like to say that Lupercus continued taking Senilife, his quality of life was restored, and the option of euthanasia has not come up again to this very day.

Senilife didn't work, in fact the use added new behaviors
My purchase was based on reviews. I decided to try SENILIFE on my 16 year old poodle.
Approx after 2 1/2 weeks of use she had no relief of symtoms. In fact her pacing became worst. And she demonstrated sleepless days which she didn't have before. So I deciced to take her off of Senilife and she's once again sleeping throughout the day.

Really helped our 16 year old girl
From UndisclosedComments about SenilifeOur 16 year old dog was having lots of dementia issues. Tried a Rx product first and found it didn't help much plus kept her in sort of a stupor. Thought I'd give Senilife a try as there was nothing to lose. Took at least 5 weeks to see a difference but she is definitely more aware of her environment and not so prone to getting stuck in corners etc. Nothing will take her back to her younger years but this has made a difference in coping with old age issues. -

From GAComments about SenilifeWe have a 17 1/2 year old Jack Russell. A visitor told us about giving Senilife To his aging dogs and how much it helped. We ordered and 10 days after giving 1 capsule daily we could see a significant improvement. He is no longer walking in circles, standing in the corner of the room and not being able to find his way out, he is eating his dry dog food out of his bowl and not having to be hand fed one piece at the time...and he lets us pet him again. The only problem...every website is out of stock . Why??? My elderly needs for the last days of his life to be the best as possible. -
I will keep Toby on this product.
From UndisclosedComments about SenilifeI was told by my vet to give Toby 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening with food.-

From UndisclosedComments about SenilifeThis product is perfect for my old lady dog who only has two teeth left. I'm able to cut the capsule open and put it on top of her canned food. She loves it and it's easy and convenient for her to eat. I have also definitely seen noticeable improvements since starting her on senilife. Delivery was also fast! #sweepstakes -

I gave my 75 pound 2 tablets of Sentlife XL . My husband did not know I gave him one already in the morning . Will this hurt my 12 year old Collie getting two in one day ??
-
Per the manufacturer, doubling the dose might cause some minor GI upset. Otherwise, there are no reported harmful concerns for giving 2 capsules instead of 1 capsule in a 75 lb dog. It is still recommended to give 1 capsule by mouth once daily to a 75 lb dog. The manufacturer recommends calling them with any questions or concerns that may come up regarding the Senilife. Their number is 800-999-0297. Otherwise, please consult with your veterinarian regarding any further questions or concerns regarding this medication in your dog.

My 8lb dog is sensitive to meds, supplements and thus is always introduced to anything new at only 1/4-1/2 doses. We reached full dose of Selegiline/Anipryl after slow dosed introduction over 6 weeks, He has been on full dose for 8 months. No issues after the recommended 1x daily dose was split into two 1/2 doses given 12 hours apart. I worry about fatal Seratonin Syndrome which can happen with Selegiline mixed with various things. What precautions are advised when giving both Senilife and Selegiline: * drug interactions? * medication dose spacing/timing? * avoidibg Seratonin Syndrome Thanks in advance for your help.?
-
Serotonin syndrome is a medical emergency that occurs when there is a build-up of excess serotonin, usually caused by certain drug classes or substances. Serotonin syndrome symptoms can include GI issues (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), mental disturbances (tremors, mood imbalance), and increased risk of bleeding. Due to the complexity of serotonin syndrome, it is recommended you speak with your veterinarian regarding new serotonergic medications (including Senilife), your dogs medication titration schedule, or any possible side effects.

My almost 10 yr old 80 lb dog had his 1st seizure ever on 4/15/17. On 5/18/17 he was put on Phenobarbital & presently takes 1 1/2 tablets per day. 1 tablet at noon & 1/2 tablet at midnight. He also is almost finished with Doxycycline for Lyme disease. He has been exhibiting many signs of dementia. Would there be any problem with taking the Phenobarbital and the Doxycycline. He gets Grand Mal seizures about 2x a month all under 1 minute. His circling and going into corners for 15-30 seconds happens on a daily basis & when outside he does walk straight but if I stop, he circles around me over & over again. Also when he is on the 30ft leash, he circles also after a time but just in wider circles. Also, he wakes up a lot during the night, and goes to sleep late & sleeps late. Thx.?
-
Phenobarbital and doxycycline do have a drug interaction. Phenobarbital may decrease the effects of doxycycline and that effect may still persist for weeks after the phenobarbital is discontinued. Please contact your veterinarian regarding the use of these medications in your dog.

Is there a benefit to giving a 68 lb dog 3 senilife regular capsules as opposed to once daily XL?
-
The Senilife XL formula contains about 2.5 times the strength of the active ingredients in each capsule and is meant for dogs over 50 lbs. Larger dogs can take the regular Senilife but the recommended dose is 3 capsules per day versus 1 capsule of the Senilife XL.
