LULU like the 21 gauge Terumo needles
From UndisclosedComments about Terumo Needles 21 gauge, 1 inch, Thin WallLulu has to be hydrated twice a day. We like the smaller needles because thy are easier on her skin. We could not find this gauge Terumo needle anywhere except VetRX direct. Another product we purchased that, qualified for the free shipping dollar amount, was unavailable in the morning, back in stock in the afternoon, same day as the Terumo needle purchase. Sam was kind enough to extend free shipping for the needles.-

Perfect needles for fluids
From Huntsville, ALComments about Terumo NeedlesThese needles were recommended through a group forum for kidney kitties needing subq fluids. They are so much better than the standard needles prescribed by our vet! It might take an extra minute to give fluids since these are a smaller gauge but our 16 year old cat doesn't react at all to the initial pinch like he did the needles from the vet. These are the only kind I'll use. -
Perfect for my cat's daily subcutaneous fluids!
From Kendall Park, NJComments about Terumo NeedlesThe Terumo 19-gauge (1 inch) thin wall needles have been a life-saver for my husband and I, as well as our 13-year-old cat, who was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease in September 2021; she needs 100ml of subcutaneous fluids every day, and during the first few months we were fraught with worry trying out a few different gauges and brands of needles, with varying results and inconsistencies. These needles in particular did the trick and we're so glad we tried them - not only do we save money compared to what our vet charges, but we've been able to settle into a consistent routine with administering our cat's fluids. The needles slide in more easily, as other folks have echoed, which makes it a much easier and painless experience for our dear cat, who has gotten much better about doing this every day; with my husband brushing her to calm her down while we listen to soft music and me giving her the fluids (which flow very well with these needles), it only takes a few minutes on average and is a much more tolerable ordeal than it used to be. I'm so thankful for these and recommend the 19-gauge to anyone who's in the same boat - they really are as good as the reviews claim! -
The needles don't leave big holes
From UndisclosedComments about Terumo Needles 19 gauge, 1 inch, Thin WallCashmere Gets lactate ringer every other day these needles do not leave big holes in her and they seem to penetrate the skin much easier without hurting her-

A special order of Normosol PH 7.4 for a special Happy!
From UndisclosedComments about Terumo Needles 22 gauge, 3/4 inch, Thin WallIt's hard to find the Normosol with the PH of 7.4. I use this for my sweet boys subcutaneous fluids. My 18 years young kitty, named Happy, has CKD and is just the best! He's such a good sport, so patient and trusting with me. He's been through so much. Loss of hearing, loss if one of his eyes, loss if his sisters, and now CKD. Even though he hates his supplements and fluids, he's got such a wonderful attitude. He's a great communicator, he's sensitive yet resilient, extremely loving, and super smart. Even though it's not always pleasant, he takes this CKD stuff all in stride, and is just the sweetest cat I've ever met! That's saying a lot because I've had and have a lot of cats. He's such a good baby boy and no one loves me like Happy does. Happy is a good influence on me and teaches me a lot. He keeps me positive and helps me keep my problems in perspective. I'm so lucky to have him!-

Needles
From Las VegasComments about Terumo NeedlesWe buy these needles for Precious that has kidney disease for fluids we inject into her, and she gets 6 days per wk. Needles at our vet are $.75 cents per needle and these needles are more narrow and easier on Precious. Good product. -
Less Pain
From UndisclosedComments about Terumo Needles 20 gauge, 1.5 inches, Thin WallMy 18 year old kitty is in kidney failure so I have to give him fluid from his IV bag every other day. These needles are thin walled so it makes the pinch less painful. The less pain the less stress. It is also very easy to order from this site and my purchase came quick.-

Q & A

I'm looking for a Monoject 250 20 x 3/4 A needle for subq fluids for my cat. I can't seem to find that gauge anywhere. Do you sell those? I got the above-named needle from my vet but cannot seem to find them online anywhere.?
-
Unfortunately we do not sell the Monoject brand of needles at this time. The closest size that we currently carry is manufactured by Terumo, 20 gauge, length 1.5 inches. You may consider speaking with your veterinarian to see which types of needles are the best option for your pet’s needs and the type of medication you are administering. Your veterinarian may be able to provide you with a supply, or recommend an alternative size that is more available for purchase.

Do you offer the Terumo 20g thin wall needles in 1" length? I need this size for administering subcutaneous fluids and find 1.5" is too long.?
-
Currently, Terumo does not manufacture the 20g veterinary needles in 1 inch length. If you feel that you need a shorter length needle, you may discuss this with your veterinarian to determine if another size needle will work for you and your pet.
Verified Answer -
This is the length I need as well as 1/5" is too long. The cat gets subcutaneous fluids every day so there is a lot of scar tissue

So to be sure the thin wall NN2525R terumo needles will screw into a Luer lock syringe? Similar to the way a Luer lock needle is? Or are they for slip tip only? This is what has been throwing me off.?
-
Terumo needles have a slip tip end, and they can be used with both luer lock and slip tip syringes.

Hello, First, I would like to confirm that you have the Terumo 19 gauge 1" thin wall and 21 gauge 1" ultra thin wall needles in stock. Do I first place the order on your site and then have my vet fax the prescription to you or do you require the prescription first? What is your fax number that my vet can use to send the prescription? I live in New York. Is there any prohibition against you shipping the needles once the prescription has been verified? Thanks in advance for your reply. Sincerely, Lonnie M.?

Will you be carrying the 20G x 1" needles? That is a good one for subcu fluids. A 1-1/2 " needle is a bit long for subcutaneous fluids, and the 20G is really a desirable gauge to use. Thanks, Cynthia?
-
same question: 1" thin wall (or ultra thin wall) 20 Gauge needles, please.
