What is PancrePlus for Dogs and Cats?
- PancrePlus relieves the symptoms of Pancreatic Insufficiency Disorder (PID) in dogs and cats. PID is also known as EPI, or Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency.
- This prescription medication replaces the pancreatic enzymes that your dog or cat doesn’t produce but needs to digest the protein, sugar, and fat in food.
- PancrePlus is also fortified with Vitamins, A, D and E to boost your pet’s health.

How do you use PancrePlus?
- PancrePlus works best when mixed with food and food is allowed to sit before feeding. Always follow your veterinarian's directions for use.

- Avoid inhaling powder as it may cause lung irritation or worsen asthma.

Love PancrePlus
From UndisclosedComments about PancrePlusMy dog has enzyme insufficiency and would be dead without this drug. She weighs 45 lbs and I use 1/2 teaspoon of PancrePlus per meal (twice daily). Since I started it 8 years ago, she is a totally normal healthy dog with solid feces (had diarrhea badly before the medication). I put the powder over her kibbles and some canned food, make sure that every bite has powder on it and let it sit for 15 min. My 13.5 year old Plott Hound knows exactly when those 15 minutes are over - I don't even have to use a timer. Great to have this wonderful medication. -

Saved my girl's life
From Germantown TNComments about PancrePlusMy 14 year old Papillon started having bowel problems in June and while she was eating more than ever, she continued to lose weight going from low 9# to 6.6# by August. She looked terrible, felt weak, and we were really concerned we were going to lose her to starvation. I did a lot of research and although her pancreas test was "normal", our vet agreed to prescribe. She's like a new dog! It's early December and she is back to mid-8#'s and continuing to feel like her old self. Her bowel movements are much firmer, well formed, and less in quantity. This morning it was "normal" and as time goes on we see more consistent normal. We are so thankful for this med! It really did save our old girl's life and quality of life for hopefully another year.-

The manufacturer also has no timing recommendations in relation to the meal, but they do advise that the tablet should be given before each meal. If your cat or dog is taking the tablet formulation, be certain they get plenty of water or some food right after dosing to reduce the risk for esophageal damage. The powder formulation is mixed into moistened food and left at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before giving to your cat or dog. For best administration advice, it is recommended that you speak with your veterinarian.

One teaspoon of the PancrePlus powder contains 71,400 units of lipase, 388,000 units of protease, and 460,000 units of amylase. This means that one teaspoon of powder contains more lipase, protease, and amylase than one tablet. Please speak to your veterinarian in regards to what dose of PancrePlus is best for your dog.
